ATLANTIC HIDEAWAY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

We look forward to welcoming you to your stay at The Atlantic Hideaway.

 

  1. Reserved rooms must be cancelled by the end of business day, (5:00pm EST) seven (7) days prior to the reservation arrival date, to avoid payment in full for the full stay, plus tax. You must have a cancellation number from the hotel to confirm a cancelled reservation. Should you not arrive for your confirmed arrival date, there will be a charge of one night’s room and tax, and the remainder of the reservation dates will be released. The hotel reserves the right to cancel a reservation with an invalid credit card without notice. 

 

  1. Room rates are for double occupancy, are quoted in United States dollars (USD) and are exclusive of applicable taxes.

 

  1. Current taxes*:

7%   Palm Beach County Tourist Development Tax

6%    Florida State Tax

  1. King rooms, and Queen rooms, allow a maximum of two (2) adults per room. Double rooms allow a maximum of four (4) adults per room, the Queen suite allows a maximum of four adults.

 

  1. The hotel has limited number of rollaway beds or cots available, on a first come first served basis. A family with children 16 and under may have four (4) people in the same room. Children sixteen (16) years and under stay free with their parents. Cribs are available upon request and subject to availability. Maximum 1 crib per room.

 

  1. Within 7 days of check-in date, Atlantic Hideaway will authorize, but not charge, the cost of the stay to the credit card provided by the guest. Should the card decline for any reason, we will attempt to contact the guest by phone and email for a new payment card. If we are unable to contact a guest within 24 hours, the reservation will be cancelled.

 

  1. Should there be any damage to, or missing items in, your room upon checkout, you authorize Atlantic Hideaway, at its sole discretion, to charge the card on file for the full cost of repair or replacement, plus an administrative fee of 25%.

 

  1. We accept the following credit cards for guarantee and payment of your accommodations: Visa, Discover, and MasterCard.

 

  1. A valid credit card and government issued photo identification are required to be presented at check in.

 

  1. Third party credit cards are not accepted for payment without the appropriate card authorization form (available upon request) completed in advance.

 

  1. Check in starts at 3pm. Check out time is 11am. Same day storage may be available for guest luggage, subject to availability. An unauthorized late check-out will be charged at a rate of $50.00 up to the cost of a reservation, plus any relocation fees incurred by Atlantic Hideaway on behalf of inconvenienced guests, at the sole discretion of Atlantic Hideaway.

 

  1. Unlimited in-and-out parking is available for hotel guests.

 

  1. We love animals, but the hotel does not allow pets in the rooms, unless approved in advance. An additional security deposit may be held in the event that pets are approved. Please note also that while we try to be flexible with pets, they must be accompanied at all times in hotel rooms.

 

  1. Atlantic Hideaway (“the hotel”), strives to ensure that at check-in, all our rooms are completely free from odors caused by cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and vapes, as preferred by our guests. We prefer that that guests do not a) smoke inside the rooms, b) smoke while leaning out of the windows or doorways of the rooms, or c) smoke immediately outside the rooms, given i) the associated odors directly or incidentally caused, ii) the significant time and labor involved in removing them to properly prepare the room for the next guest, and iii) the need to close rooms in which such odors remain. However, the hotel does recognize that some guests are determined to smoke in their rooms, and will do so regardless of requests. Accordingly, we do offer that option, subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement. By exercising their choice to smoke inside the rooms, and / or causing the rooms to smell of cigarettes, the undersigned agrees to reimburse the hotel, in full, for the labor, time and materials involved in removing the smell of smoke, cigarette butts, and damage caused by same. In addition, where odors cannot be satisfactorily removed from the room in prior to check-in time, at the sole discretion of the hotel, the undersigned further agrees to reimburse the hotel, in full, for any and all revenue lost as a result of rooms being removed from use, to a maximum of $300.00 (three hundred dollars). Should guest exercise this option, the charges identified in the above paragraph will be listed in a separate itemized invoice, applied to the card on file within seven days, and a receipt sent to the guest at their email address on file.
